
NEW DELHI: (Jul 31) Busan International Film Festival has announced “Pachinko” star Kim Minha, a rising South Korean star, as the host of this year’s opening ceremony.
Minha made her debut in 2016 and has built a distinctive body of work across films and television over the years. She gained international fame with her portrayal of young Sunja in the globally acclaimed Apple TV series “Pachinko”, a popular novel by author Min Jin Lee.
After earning applaud for her portrayal of young Sunja, Minha has also starred in popular K-dramas such as “Light Shop”, “Way Back Love” and “Typhoon Family”.
