LOS ANGELES: (Sep 9) “The White Lotus” actor Sarah Catherine Hook is set to feature in “Crush”.
The project is described as a “snake-themed thriller” and hails from 20th Century Studios, according to the entertainment news outlet Deadline. It is directed by Julius Avery and is produced by Scott Glassgold, among others.
The plot details are kept under wraps but it is said to revolve around Hook’s character hiking alone in the Everglades who wakes to find herself trapped in the crushing coils of a massive python, fighting to stay alive as every breath brings her closer to death. Inspired by true events.
