NEW DELHI: (Oct 30) Actor Anil Kapoor went down memory lane and recalled shooting for his film “Tezaab” in Mannat, which was later bought by Shah Rukh Khan and spoke about his bond with the superstar.
Kapoor, who hosts Star Plus’ reality show “India Ke Top 1%”, spoke to the contestants as they discussed what they would do if they win Rs 1 crore. One of the contestants said she would want to buy a house similar to Khan’s Mannat.
Kapoor went on to praise Khan and said he knew the actor had the potential to emerge as a star. The actor said Khan came to meet him when he was shooting for the 1991 film “Benaam Badshah”.
