Four-days state-level school wrestling competition under-14 to be held from Dec 8

Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, A four-day-long state level school boys and girls wrestling under-14 sports competition will be held from December 8 to 11 at district sports complex (badminton hall) in Sindhudurg.

It is being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Maharashtra State, the District Sports Council and the District Sports Officer’s Office.

In a official statement by Sindhudurg DIO, around 160 players and team managers from 8 divisions of Maharashtra including Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kolhapur, Latur, Mumbai, Nagarpur, Nashik, Pune in various weight groups, are expected to participate, and a total of 200 people including umpires for the competition will be present.

The District Sports Council and the District Sports Officer’s Office, Sindhudurg are making arrangements for the accommodation, food, etc. of the players and team managers.

The District Sports Office has appealed to everyone to enjoy watching the State Level Wrestling Championship matches for boys and girls aged 14 years and above.
