NEW DELHI: (Sep 7) Actor Anil Kapoor went down memory lane and shared a video from his film “Nayak” on social media as it completed 25 years of release.
The film was directed by S Shankar and also starred Rani Mukerji and Amrish Puri in pivotal roles. It released on September 7, 2001 and featured the actor in the role of Shivaji Rao.
Kapoor shared the post on his Instagram handle on Monday and recalled what made him agree for the film. “25 years of Nayak. drew me to Shivaji Rao was never just the journey from a common man to the Chief Minister. It was what he chose to do once he got there, to use the power he had to make a difference to the people,” he wrote in the caption.
