HAGUE: (Oct 27) Negotiations for an Investment Protection Agreement (IPA) between India and the European Union are underway, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said.
He also said some legal changes are required for an agreement on Geographical Indications (GIs) with the EU, which the ministry is going to introduce in Parliament.
“Discussions are underway on a bilateral investment agreement or the IPA, and for the GI pact, we need to make some legal changes,” he told reporters here.
