ORCHHA (MP): (Sep 1) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has accused the Congress of treating Muslims as a vote bank, saying that due to this appeasement politics, it removed some key portions of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ even before Independence.

The Congress is still following the same policy, Yadav said, addressing the concluding session of the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) executive committee meeting in the religious city of Orchha in Niwari district on Monday.

He called upon party workers to go among people and highlight the BJP government’s achievements at the Centre as well as in Madhya Pradesh, and also create an atmosphere across the state against the appeasement policy of the main Opposition party.
